the experience of a japanese dinner and breakfast was awesome. the staff were super friendly and could not have done a better job. the owner was really helpfull, she went out of her way to assist us with bus tickets and even paid for our taxi. our group of four was really impressed with the services and how cozy it felt. the location was really good too, close to everything.
only thing was the checkout time was super early at 10 am, and the charged us a lot for boiling some sweet potatos for my kid! !

Takayama vibes 🌸
The food was out of this world—proper Japanese style! The personal touch with our own attendant for meals made it extra special. They even collected us from the bus station, sharp-sharp!

I gave it a shot
A short but delightful stay! Attentive staff and exquisite meals in intimate dining spaces perfectly showcase Japanese tradition. The onsen was a serene escape after exploring. Complimentary shuttle services from the train station made the experience even better. Truly a warm welcome all around. I can’t wait to come back!

missingWrote a review on Oct 26attentive staffsmall bathroomoutdated decor
The hotel staff were attentive and responsive to our needs, providing personalized service.
While the experience was enjoyable, I did find the bathroom facilities to be smaller than expected, lacking some modern amenities that could enhance comfort. The overall decor felt outdated and did not match the price point we anticipated. although we enjoyed the dining experience, the quality of the beef didn’t quite live up to Takayama's renowned culinary reputation.

In the heart of Takayama, the food was exquisite and kept coming. The staff were wonderfully attentive and waved goodbye with warmth even in the rain.
The public bath could use an additional quiet hour for relaxation.
